Factors that affect the price of Pins
Does quantity affect the price of custom pins?
Yes. Custom pins are available in quantities of 50,100,300,500,1000,5000 and the prices are definitely different. Generally speaking, the higher the quantity of custom pins, the lower the price, and the lower the quantity of custom pins, the higher the price.
Does base metal affect the price of custom pins?
Yes. There are 4 standard base metals used in pin manufacturing: iron, brass, copper, and zinc alloy. Generally, the most used material is zinc alloy, as it is easier to store and less expensive when customised in large quantities.
Also, one advantage is that whatever material we use, we can cover the surface with another layer of material, and we can’t tell from the surface what material was used for the custom pins.
Does size affect the price of custom pins?
Yes. The larger the size of the custom pins, the higher the price, because more materials will be encountered and more costs will be incurred.
A typical pin size is 1 inch or 1.25 inches, and usually, there is a big difference in price when the pin size is more than 1 foot or 1.25 feet.
